Patricia Oroyo

Licensed Esthetician ·Laser Hair Removal Professional · Founder, OROYO Skincare + SKINPLUSBYOROYO Little Elm, Texas

I was a lawyer in Lagos, Nigeria before I was a skincare founder in Little Elm, Texas. One moment in a courtroom changed everything. I was representing a woman in a divorce case — she was the breadwinner, she had built everything — and she was fighting to keep a man who had not built anything with her. Because she did not believe she was enough without him. I walked away from law after that. Because I wanted to spend my life helping women feel enough — in themselves, by themselves.

My path led me to esthetics. Then to laser certification — specifically in skin of color treatment — because I had lived with a skin disorder called HS (Hidradenitis Suppurativa) for over a decade before I found relief from laser technology And I refused to let other women of color suffer from pesky hair, Ingrowns or PCOS when the solution is right under our nose. I opened SKINPLUSBYOROYO in Little Elm, Texas. Every treatment calibrated to melanin-rich skin. Every protocol built around our beautiful melanin.

Then my clients kept asking — Patricia, what do I use at home? They were going to Sephora. To Ulta. To the dermatologist. And coming back with products that were not built for their skin. Formulas adapted as an afterthought. Not engineered from the beginning for them. So I built OROYO Skincare. Fourteen products. Six rituals. Every formula starting with one question: what does melanin-rich skin actually need? Not what works for all skin types. What works for yours.

OROYO was not adapted from a generic formula. It was built from clinical experience, years of listening to the women in my care, and one belief that has never changed: Every woman is enough. This was always for her.

From the Treatment Room to the Product Line

Because Skin of Color Deserves More Than Generic Skincare

Patricia created OROYO because she believes melanin-rich skin requires care that is both thoughtful and specific.

Skin of color is beautiful, resilient, and complex. It can also be more prone to visible discoloration after inflammation, breakouts, sun exposure, or irritation. That means the wrong ritual can do more than disappoint. It can leave behind marks, sensitivity, and setbacks that take months to repair.

Patricia wanted to build a product line that respected that reality.

OROYO was developed to support the skin without overwhelming it. Each formula was created with purpose, so that every step in the ritual has a reason to exist. The goal was never to chase trends or promise overnight transformation. The goal was to build rituals that women could trust, use consistently, and feel confident returning to every day.

Because lasting skin change does not come from harshness.

It comes from understanding, consistency, and care.

Our Treatments

Soft Rituals, Deep Results

Patricia’s care extends beyond the bottle.

At SKINPLUSBYOROYO in Little Elm, she offers corrective facials and laser hair removal — each one designed to complement the skin’s natural renewal process and bring every client closer to the confidence she deserves.

Melanin-rich skin requires a skilled and specific hand. Patricia’s treatments reflect the same approach that guides every OROYO formula:

Soft, intentional, restorative and deeply effective.

Built for Melanin-Rich Skin

OROYO was not created as a general skincare line that later added skin of color to the conversation. It was built with melanin-rich skin in mind from the very beginning.

That distinction matters.

Every formula was developed with the needs of skin of color at the center — uneven tone, post-breakout marks, dullness, sensitivity, dehydration, texture, visible aging, and the daily weight of environmental stress. The products are designed to work together in complete rituals, so that the skin receives balanced support instead of disconnected steps.

Patricia wanted each formula to have a clear role, and each ritual to feel like a ritual worth returning to.

This is the line she wished she could offer her clients for years.

Now she can.
